AI​

I believe that restoration and design is all about connection; connection of people to landscapes, and to one another. I believe that AI is antithetical to this value, allocating resources to machines rather than real things that sustain and connect people. For this reason, I choose not to use AI for any of my work. This includes assessment, writing, and design. Particulary in landscape design, it is very easy to use AI to envision how a design may look, or even outsource creative thinking to have AI develop a design. I use specialty software for various purposes, and some AI is integrated into so many workflows now that it is difficult to completely avoid, however, I will not explicitly use AI for these purposes. I value using my own creativity and ecological expertise for planning and design, and would love to work with clientelle that holds those same values.
